Children are given access to the Young Buds Award website where they engage with age-appropriate tasks and upload evidence of their challenges, whether it's through photos, videos, or document uploads. This easy intuitive approach enhances the learning experience, allowing children to showcase their achievements in a format they're comfortable with.

The Young Buds Awards is based on your school's unique local environment, encouraging children to explore and appreciate their local area. From the natural beauty to the local customs and special areas around them, the award helps each child build a lasting connection with their surroundings.

Flexible

The Young Buds Award can be seamlessly integrated into your existing educational structure as part of a home-based learning programme. Schools offer the award to their children to work on with their family at home.

Upon completion of the award children receive an official certificate, as well as a medal to wear with pride. These physical mementos serve to foster a profound sense of achievement in the children. By being presented with these awards, they can tangibly see and feel the results of their hard work and skill development. This reinforces the value of their newfound capabilities, empowering them to continue building upon their successes.

What are the costs?

There are no costs to the school. Each child pays a small fee to access their personal portal. Contact us for more details.

The Young Buds Award is a programme that prioritizes the development of essential life skills. Rather than solely recognizing academic achievement, the Award empowers children by fostering competencies in areas like practical life skills, sustainability, and overall well-being all essential in order to thirve in life.

ECO Friendly

Each level of the Young Buds Award includes an ECO challenges. The Award itself is also eco-friendly as it is delivered online, eliminating the need for printed materials. Award certificates can be emailed directly to participants, or schools can print them for presentation if desired. Additionally, the badges are made from wood, further reinforcing our commitment to environmental awareness.

Parent Information

Each challenge comes with a "Parent's Corner" where detailed information is provided to explain the importance of the challenge and the benefits to the children ensuring parents understand the growth their child will gain by participating.
